※If you are an applicant already lives in japan and has the visa, please, consult us. *An appliant who is from mainland China needs to take a written exam and have an interview at one of the study-abroad centers located in various places in China. Please note that application from an applicant who doesn’t have the interview cannot be accepted *How to apply @ Document submission at the EHLE student office in Japan: Bring documents required, passport, and screening fee with you. A Document submisson by a representative living in Japan: In principal, the representative has to be the applicant’s financial sponsor in Japan. If any other person becomes the representative to submit the application documents, a proxy letter should be presented with the documents required and screening fee. B Document Submission at our overseas branch or a study-abroad center affiliated with us: If the applicant’s financial sponsor is iving outside of Japan, submit your documents at our overseas branch or a study-aboard center affiliated with us.Please contact us if you would like to know the location of the nearest branch or center. |

| 5.Financial Sponsorship: |
| In order to receive a Certificate of Eligibility for student visa, applicant’s financial situation is very important. Although it is not necessary for the financial sponsor to reside in Japan, sponsor must be able to cover tuition and living expenses for the applicant throughout their period of study. Thus, along with the application, the sponsor’s “proof of earnings” and “certificate of deposit balance” have to be turned in. Moreover, the sponsor should be someone who guides the student so that he/she would center his/her effort upon the study. The sponsor needs to be responsible for the student’s life situation during the study term including his/her accommodation, various problems for living in Japan, studying and so on. |
| 6.Applicants who have previously applied to a Japanese Language school: |
| The applicant needs to notify us if he/she has previously applied to a Japanese Language School for enrollment. Some additional documents should be required when submitting the student visa request to the Immigration Bureau. |
